These letters were hand-finished and sealed in envelopes for visitors to take home from the 2006/7 'If A Girl Writes Off The World' exhibition.
Pinned a hundred at a time to a fishing wire strung the width of the gallery, these pieces formed part of the 'Mermaids Are Seasluts' installation at London, New York and Providence. Visitors to each show could take one home with them.
I cannot, of course, tell you what is inside - that was point of the installation, and remains a secret unless you bought one!
